Tuesday 27 November – Wain’s Hill and Clevedon Pill Leader: Peter Holbrook
November 27, 2018
Clevedon was windy, overcast with a hint of drizzle as 19 members set off along the promenade towards Wain’s Hill. Half a dozen Turnstones were seen as well as at least 90 Black-headed Gulls. As we moved on to Poets’ Walk, Blue and Long-tailed Tits were seen and heard and a solitary Jay was sitting

The Bristol Ornithological Club (BOC) became a Charity (1205862) in 2023, was founded, in 1966, to promote, encourage and co-ordinate the scientific study of ornithology in all its branches in the Bristol area.
The Aims of the Charity
To advance education for the public benefit in ornithology and matters related to the
conservation of wild birds in particular within Bristol and the surrounding area by:
a. promoting and taking part in local and national studies and surveys,
b. supporting and assisting the conservation and preservation of wild birds and their
habitats through co-operation with local and national organisations
