A good turnout of 41 walkers on this very foggy and chilly day headed out along the Severn Way for 500m before returning. Walking to the Severn Way and passing some houses, we observed the typical birds in the hedgerows including Goldfinches. Scopes and tripods ready we arrived at the information sign for the start

Bristol Ornithological Club
The Bristol Ornithological Club (BOC) became a Charity (1205862) in 2023, was founded in 1967, to promote, encourage and co-ordinate the scientific study of ornithology in all its branches in the Bristol area.
The Aims of the Charity
To advance education for the public benefit in ornithology and matters related to the
conservation of wild birds in particular within Bristol and the surrounding area by:
a. promoting and taking part in local and national studies and surveys,
b. supporting and assisting the conservation and preservation of wild birds and their
habitats through co-operation with local and national organisations
