Tuesday 07 October – Little Sodbury Leader: Peter Bryant

Nineteen of us met on a cool and cloudy morning and headed north. The first excitement was two Roe Deer running across our field to the sounds of Jackdaw, Robin, Long-tailed Tit, and Wrens. A sole Moorhen was heard from the hidden pool. Next, with some tits, were two Nuthatches, a Dunnock and 30 Mallards

Bristol Ornithological Club
The Bristol Ornithological Club (BOC) became a Charity (1205862) in 2023, was founded, in 1966, to promote, encourage and co-ordinate the scientific study of ornithology in all its branches in the Bristol area.
The Aims of the Charity
To advance education for the public benefit in ornithology and matters related to the
conservation of wild birds in particular within Bristol and the surrounding area by:
a. promoting and taking part in local and national studies and surveys,
b. supporting and assisting the conservation and preservation of wild birds and their
habitats through co-operation with local and national organisations
