Nine of us gathered by the green at Becket Court/St Aldams Drive suitably attired and prepared for a circular walk in disappointingly damp and dull weather. We joined the mostly tree lined and somewhat green section of cycle path that runs along the perimeter of HMP Ashfield. A few squeaks and calls were heard but

Bristol Ornithological Club
The Bristol Ornithological Club (BOC) became a Charity (1205862) in 2023, was founded, in 1966, to promote, encourage and co-ordinate the scientific study of ornithology in all its branches in the Bristol area.
The Aims of the Charity
To advance education for the public benefit in ornithology and matters related to the
conservation of wild birds in particular within Bristol and the surrounding area by:
a. promoting and taking part in local and national studies and surveys,
b. supporting and assisting the conservation and preservation of wild birds and their
habitats through co-operation with local and national organisations
